Black Sofa, Rugs, Interior decoration?

Cream colored walls are great because they can basically match with anything. If you have a dark colored wooden floors (perhaps mahogany colored), you want to try something that will have contrast, especially with your black couch. Try something white, or if its going to be a high traffic area maybe a light brown to tan. Sounds like you are creating a modern home by having a black leather couch and glass coffee table. You can try something with a pattern on it (lines, circular, shapes)… but the main color of your rug should remain something light and the pattern could be a mix of brown and blacks.
