This book is a good way to start learning about international trade. The information you read in this book will help you throughout your venture. Keep in mind, however, that this book is only a beginer’s book. You will need to aquire a lot more knowledge before you will be ready to dive into the international trade pool.

This is a good general overview of the import-export business. It’s geared more to beginners, with lots of information on how to get started, not necessarily how to actually expand an existing business.
I wish the author would have gone over more information about online business expansion, but this book is older and maybe the technology just wasn’t there yet.
It’s a good book for someone just starting out, or researching the business to see if they want to try it.

Good book, very well written. As the writer explains, he described this business like “it is”. He did a great job at covering the ins and outs of the business in great detail. Excellent for someone new to this that is trying to find out whether this is a suitable business idea or not.

This book is fine for the very early entrepreneur. There is an entire chapter on choosing between forms of organization, buying office supplies and creating a logo. It’s a good birds-eye-view of the import/export process, however, if you are a professional seeking insights and business solutions, you will not find many new ideas here.
