I do not have an HD DVD player on my Xbox360, just whatever came with system one step above the core model.

If I buy BlueRay and HD DVDs will they work on my system?

Thank you for your time.
I care more-so about the HD DVDs than I do blueray.

No, Xbox 360 does not play BlueRay. And it probably won’t ever play BlueRay since BlueRay is owned and invented by Sony (Playstation)

U cant play BluRay full stop.
Sorry man.
And u need to have th HD-DVD player for DVDs, but not for playing games in HD.

Complex and pointless, I kno, but thats th way it is.

No

The 360 Doesn’t Come With A Blu-Ray Player, As This Is Still Largely Owned By Sony!

HD-DVD’s Are Completely Different To Blu-Ray Ones, So Again They Wont Play On A Regular 360 Console. Obviously Yhoo Can Buy The Extra Player, But This Wont Play Blu-Ray Dvds.
