Home decorations / Themes – 50′s/60′s?

I am moving into a new home soon and is pondering the decor/themes. I know I want to decorate a room (maybe master bed / bath) in the old hollywood glamour 1950′s/1960′s era… but i also want to tie in the rest of the house (living room, kitchen, guest room) without going overboard, but without there being totally different themes in each room.
