Does a ps2 guitar hero 2 controller work for the ps2 version of guitar hero 3?

there is no “gh2″ controller.. it just comes in a package with the game.. they are all the same!

Ive had the same wireless guitar since Guitar Hero 1. And it still works fine today on Guitar Hero 3.
