i don’t think that its your xbox.. it wouldn’t make the price high it could be your computer.. i leave my xbox for at lest 11 hours a day and have my computer on and its only like 150 witch isn’t to bad.. so i don’t thin its your 360

well do you have a computer. if so turn that off while playing or even turn it off for the night. Alot of peoples hydro bill sky rockets after getting a device that takes a huge chunk of electricity, look around the house and find way’s to safe electricity. Like in my house we now have 3 computers, 5 t.v. ‘s, one xbox 360, 2 ps2′s…anyways we have alot of things, after getting my laptop ( one of the 3 computers) my mom said my hydro bill is huge. So what i did is turned of my laptop at night, Put my t.v. on sleep ( because for some reason i cant fall asleep without it on :-\) and when i seen lights on in the house that weren’t used i turned them off.

Anyways i think you get the point…..

Yes, even though those ligts are turned off, they are still using electricity. That goes for all your electrical appliances. make sure you unplug something while your not using it, and you’ve got yourself a cheaper electric bill. That is true, they could be charging you more for kilowat, but that’s highly unlikely.

lol are you sure its your x box, my average electric bill is 70-100 its more the air conditioning fridge running and my computer that kill me.
I also have my xbox on for 8-9hrs a day. So really maybe you wanna look at somthing like your ac or cpu being on 24/7

try unplugging any electronics you aren’t using, they still use power because it allows you to turn things on faster.

it could be possible that your electric company is raising the amount you pay per kilowatt
