How do i unlock PS2 to play unlicensed games?

I’ve bought a PS2 a week back and I want to play the pirated games on it. Please HELP! I tried different codes which did not work.

Pirated games?… Go buy the real games. PS2 games should be getting cheaper now. Seriously, pirated games are usually crap anyway.

I live in Ecuador and all I know is that there they put a special “chip” in so that it will read all games. Maybe you have to do that?

I think you have to send it off to be “chipped” that is what happened with my ps1, Its more difficult to do now as less places can do it.

you need a modchip or a swap magic dvd and tool or a dvd called HD Xtreme witch let you store games on a external hard drive

well….all you have to do is go to a store that will “chip” your ps2 and then you can just borrow games from shops and copy then in order to play em. The chip only costs about $115. I dont know where you live so i dont noe any shops that might have em, but if you mention where you live, i might be able to help ya.
