I want to work at a care home and im getting voluntry soon. Will any of these things help me get a job there?

2. I helped them put decorations up today. All the old people liked me and I sat talking to one of them for about 45 mins lol. Got hooked into the convo lolz
3. One of the other residents was getting her hair done and said infront of june (the boss) oooh I like him I do.
4. All the residents seem to like me and they enjoy my company (does this make me a suck up, I do it coz i care)
5. Im polite to all residents at all time.

7. I know this dnt matter much but when i put decorations up I asked them “would this look ok here”as they are living there after all

Sounds as if you are ideal, but working at a care home and visiting residents are two different things. You will not have all that time to chat to the residents, you will be busy busy busy. How are you on cleaning dirty bottoms of elderly people?
