Is the Xbox360 Elite the only version of the Xbox360 that can play the original Xbox games? If you have a voided warranty (because I open my 360 myself) is there anyway you can get a Xbox360 fixed?

A) No, it’s not.

B) No, you can’t. Or, at least, not fixed by Microsoft.

The Xbox 360 Pro and the Elite can play original Xbox games. BUT there is a specific list as to what games are playable on the 360. Luckily I found the list :]
As for the warranty question. Once you void the warranty (there are ways to get around the sticker fyi) you cannot have it repaired by Microsoft. But there are plenty of people that have the capability to repair a Xbox. Simply post on craigslist saying you’re looking for someone that has that ability and many will reply.
But incase you don’t get it fixed and need a new one you can check out they have some there cheapest on the market.

Any version of the xbox can play original xbox games, as long as you have a harddrive.
And you cannot get it fixed by microsoft, however you can send it into different people to get it fixed. Or you can ask us knowledgeable people and we can help you fix it.
