It is startling that this moron, Monckton , is still getting publicity.
The true climate scientists would not give him the time of day because he would deliberately mis-represent it and call midnight midday and then accuse the opposite argument.
i am a scientist, hence my username… its a kinda pun (any good chemist will understand it)
but i have no idea how this world became so stupid as to believe that CO2 is the main climate control even dispite the fact that humidity ( the primary “possitive feedback”) is decreasing.
this in itself to me makes a mockery of the whole theory, this one fact makes the AGW notion utterly redundant.
please, anyone disagree?

His name is Christopher Monckton. He has the title of lord, so therefore is; Lord Monckton or Lord Christopher Monckton. It’s a British thing. There are many titles for men and women; Sir, Baroness, MBE, OBE etc.
If you are a lord you can be in the house of lords (parliament) if not you are only allowed into the ‘commons’.
The title of sir is dished out by the queen to pretty much anyone nowadays, i.e; football manger Sir Alex Ferguson, rowing gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave, etc.

I accidentally removed that comment when i was trying to edit the one above it. It was basically about how people like scientists when they bring good news, and dislike them when they bring bad news.
however, just because I don’t care about the future doesn’t mean I have to deny scientific discoveries. The only point I’m trying to make is that this guy isn’t in my field, and I don’t respect his scientific opinion. Sure, maybe there is a ‘new world order’ or something coming, and maybe climate change is helping to establish it. This does not change the laws of physics. People need to separate SCIENCE from POLITICS. It’s an inconvenient truth because it’s kind of a downer either way.
I could really care less about ‘imposing’ my will on others. I don’t even have a will to impose. I say put as much co2 as you can into the atmosphere and let future generations deal with it. I certainly don’t want to have to stop flying, driving, or leaving the tv on for my dogs.
Just because I study the climate doesn’t mean I care to do anything about it. I’m not having kids, and I will make it to my death bed without being significantly impacted by climate change.
This comment just shows you have not understood at all what he is saying.
Behind every educated socialist (whether they realise they are or not) is the belief that they are better than others and because of this, that they have a right to impose their will on others.
I’m not arguing that IPCC working group 2 is not corrupted, just working group 1. I don’t know anything about the proposed solutions to our situation, or who will gain what. I’m sure there is a saturation of greedy/corrupt people/entrepreneurs who are just trying to make money off of the whole ordeal. You should not confuse these people with scientists. I concede that there are civilians arguing for AGW who are doing so for monetary gain.
People only want to argue about science when a discovery is made that makes life LESS convenient.
I don’t want to watch it again but at some point he does say make the accusation that people with no credentials are weighing in on the topic. I just thought it was funny since, you know, he doesn’t have any himself. I’m a student studying atmospheric sciences, but neither I nor Monckton have contributed anything to the field of climatology. Until you contribute something you really can’t talk. People who think scientists are frauds are silly. 2+2 won’t = 5 even if I am a fraud.
