It’s already run by the government for the benefit of insurance companies who have a hand up Max Baucus’s ass. Single payer advocates are just trying to get the government to represent and work for all people and not just super wealthy people.

These stodgy bastards all have the best of health care as well as secure jobs. How in hell can anyone intelligently expect them to be less than apathetic about the lives of others? This is a case of those who have, ruling over those who have not. America has always been this way so what else could anyone expect from this lineup of takers and users?
These mucky-mucks have never been in the shoes of the common people who put them in their high places. This is the real face of American politics.
