I think why it lags when you’re using the headset is because bandwidth is needed to broadcast your audio to the online players and vice versa. So your internet connection is taxed, probably causing the lag. I don’t see how the keypad will cause the lag however because it doesn’t require as much internet bandwidth as compared to using the headset to send text messages…
