Psi Bands Acupressure Wrist Band – Color Play

I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING PSI BANDS. I used them for only one day and after I removed them I had two semi-circular bands of elevated red blistering skin on my right wrist. As you can see from the photo below. I visit my local ER and the ER doctor said I was suffering from a sever skin contact derematitis. I was put on an intense steroid treatment plan of both oral and lotion steroids. Even after following the ER’s treatment plan I still have a permanent irregular scar on my wrist. As you can see from the photo above. SO again I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING PSI BANDS.

I ordered these in Cherry Blossom color and used them on our 18 day transatlantic cruise. The psi bands worked great for moderate seasickness. They are a nice size and waterproof – won’t get soggy like the sea bands. I got a lot of compliments on the design and people asking where I got them. I gifted my pair to a pregnant friend who’s having a lot of morning sickness, and they’ve been helping her quite a bit, too. A great product!

In my 4th week of pregnancy, I felt fantastic. In the middle of the 5th week, I woke up with the awful feeling that I’d need to ack, almost as though I had been out drinking all night. I bought the PSI Bands that very day; no sense in waiting to see if the nausea would just stop on its on. They work like a charm. The other thing that’s super about this brand specifically (as opposed to the more traditional terrycloth wrist bands which have been out for years) is that since they are plastic, you can swim in them and sweat in them with no problems. I take them off at night; the nausea often hits at about 3 a.m., so I put them on then and remain and pretty happy pregnant lady. Now coming up on week 10.

Wore this during my pregnancy and it seemed to help with my all-day nausea. Also, after having my son it has helped me with car sickness. Awesome :) Can be kind of hard to get on by yourself at the right size…but no big deal.

So my husband and I were going on a cruise for the first time for our anniversary, and while we were really excited, my husband was a little nervous about getting motion sick. You have to understand my husband gets motion sick in a car, on a boat, on a treadmill, on a plane, on the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland! So I ordered these and they arrived the day before we headed out, he tested them out while I drove us from Phoenix, AZ to Long Beach, CA (he always gets car sick when I drive), but shockingly with the bands he was FINE!!! We are a bit skeptical and never believed in accupressure, but it worked!! On the ship, he only got queezy once in the casino in the front of the ship, and mind you, the room was filled with cigarette smoke, but once he left he was better. He has used dramamine in the past, but it makes you so tired its hardly worth it, and besides, once your already sick, Dramamine is useless. We were on a horse, on small boats, big 4×4 trucks, and he was perfectly content. The only thing is that the plastic can get uncomfortable after some time but was good for when we got in the pool on the ship. So maybe also try the cloth sea bands, they are a bit more comfortable and look like normal sweat bands, but are not waterproof.
