The answer to Americas question on obesity would be found if this would happen. Junk food should be at higher prices then healthy food.
If the price of healthy food were lower more people would buy them instead of indulging their mouths with fat, carbs, sugar, corn syrup, salt, etc. Should we do this is in America right now.
Is this the answer to Americas obesity problem?
Why are we the fattest nation in the world?
I would love to see this happen but I guess it will never happen in my life time well maybe I’m only 16 and I am fat.

That is a great point. I believe that they should reduce organic and natural food and even take most junk foods off the shelves and get organic and healthy alternatives. For example instead of selling potato chips why don’t they sell apple chips.

I don’t see why not… there’s tax on cigs and alcohol. I think junk food should be like three times what it is now. that’d be great…

I agree to disagree with you, friend.

The problem with America is we can’t stop eating those really tasty snack foods, because they’re really tasty.

But the higher price of junk and the reduced of healthier food would help out obesity problem, but it wouldn’t completely resolve it.

it should be. it makes more sense too. healthy food like organic takes a lot of money for farmers and so they sell it hight too. it is easy to sell junk cheap so more ppl could buy it

well heres the problem, alot of healthy foods are cheaper than say fried chicken. there is yogurt for $1 at walmart, $1 apples, and there is alot more than that! its just more conveinient to go pick up some fast food than run in and buy something healthy for the same price

=D hope i helped

you make a good point but the obvious reason to the prices is the economy is making the prices all jacked up, its hard to understand but it is what it is
