What exactly do you need to purchase to get online with a Nintendo Wii? I have a Wii and a regular DSL connection to my PC.

to be honest with you if you have no wireless connection on your router go out and get a lan adapter there 30 bucks and will give you an even faster connection. The first wii game to be online is pokemon battle and super smash bros brawl.

If you have a wireless home network at home set up, then you need nothing. The system will connect out of the box. If not then you need a wirless router to set up a home network or a router and a lan adapter, which runs around 30 bucks, to connect ala wired.
