yes, very formal. women in nice evening dresses (NO slacks) and a nice formal suit for a man. preferably black. Not too heavy on the casual wear. This is a very old money place.

There are very strict dress codes in the Grand Casino. Men need to wear coat and tie, and tennis shoes are forbidden. You’ll also need to be carrying your passport since Monegasques are not allowed to gamble in their own casinos, and passports are checked to enforce this law.

NB: Its the Grand Casino in Monaco not the Grand Monaco Casino. It is in Monaco which is an independent nation and NOT France.
