I know mobile DC clients exist, I want to know if there are any for the Sony Ericsson w200i. If there are, where can I get it? There’s also antiviruses for phones nowadays, anybody know where I could get one of those too, for free?

Mobile virus are a (virtually nonexistent) plague of smartphones, running Symbian/Windows Mobile OS. Hence antivirus are only needed for them.

Normal phones run java-based (or propriety coded) programs, which allows much less freedom (with respect to memory and cpu access) for virus to exploit. So there is no need for any antivirus for mobiles without symbian/windows mobile OS.

About the mobile DC client, its the same story as above. Such a client would require too much power and functions that only the newest smartphones support it (1st and 2nd gen smartphones like Nokia N70/6600 cant run it).

And after a quick look at mobileDC’s homepage, looks like the project have been abandoned or halted. No new updates in 2 years, all i can say is such projects are experimental and dont ever expect them to work, even on supported phones.

So in short; sorry there is nothing like that for your phone out there.
