Why does my sony ericsson w580i just randomly shut off?

my sony ericsson w580i just randomly shuts off when its on for like a half an hour. When i turn it back on the battery is full powered, and i just bought a new one, so it can’t be that. Also, when i put it on hard surfaces, like wood or metal, it seems to turn off also. Is this happening with your phone too? Is there anyway of fixing it?

Yeah. Mine does that also ive only had it a day and it like freezes and then turns off fir a few seconds its strange and never seen anything like it. I dont think you can fix it unless you ask in the shop where uyou have bought it from. Im not bothered it doesnt reelie bother me except from when im in the middle of a call.
Another thing that bothers me about this phone si the bettery life half i day i got out of it after chargin it for 12 hours and it has no flash but apart from that its good. =]
