they may not be much louder but they will definitely work as long as you have the wire split thing (you should probably know what i am talking about)

Not without a plug adapter. Most phones are a different size than standard earphones. Click the link below and search “3.5 plug adapter”
Most Sony (well, all cell phones really) have a smaller plug than a 3.5
